Senior Video Architect

With this in mind, Interoute is currently recruiting a Senior Video Architect to join the Unified Communications portfolio group. This role offers a career-building opportunity as the Video market explodes.

The successful candidate will build on Interoute's existing video conferencing solution and help design and develop a market-leading video conferencing offering.

Interoute is looking for a person who is prepared to speak out in a crowd, with valued opinions and knowledge; an individual who is aware of the market, can see what changes are needed and is ahead of the curve. We are looking for someone who can put together different capabilities from multiple vendors and make a coherent product, which dove-tails into the existing product family and will scale quickly and easily.

• Extensive knowledge of Video protocols and their interworking challenges
• Engineering based degree or equivalent
• Previous experience of Video Conferencing with a Service Provider is ideal, but not essential

Excellent communication skills both written and presentation (internal and external). An ability to communicate effectively in a forum of peers and present product development concepts to senior management. Structured approach to problem solving with a calm, clear and objective manner
