Siebel Developer

Siebel is a business critical application at Interoute used by various functions in the organisation. Siebel team comprises of developers and business analysts responsible for day to day support, maintenance and development of the application.

• Understand business requirements, design, build and test Siebel application.

• Enhance a customized Siebel solution in UI, integration and functional areas.

• Participate in deployment of new functionality to test and live environments

• Handling queries from end users on application usage and resolving usability/ data problems.

• Work with owners of other Interoute applications that interface with Siebel to develop new features/resolve problems

[Essential skills, knowledge, experience required]
• Should have 3 – 4 years of Siebel Implementation experience in versions 7.8/8.0 with overall more than 5 years

• Should have been involved in multiple end-to-end implementation with exposure to various roles and activities

• Should be hands-on in Siebel Configuration, Scripting and Workflows.

• Should have hands-on experience in Siebel EAI implementation (Web Services) technical approach

• Knowledge of Run time events and Data Validation Manager

• Knowledge of Actuate Report Development

• Knowledge of RDBMS concepts, SQL Server (2000 or higher), should be able to write and execute queries on the database.

• Exposure to telecom industry
